A bit about Salsa: Salsa is not easily defined. Who invented salsa? Salsa is a distillation of many Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances, who played a large part in its evolution. Salsa is similar to Mambo in that both have a pattern of six steps danced over eight counts of music. The dances share many of the same moves. In salsa, turns have become an important feature, so the overall look and feel is quite different from those of the Mambo.
Salsa dancing lessons are a great way to get fit, meet people and have a great time. With our weekly classes you’ll learn and enjoy and get trim at the same time!!

Tango - “Why tango? It is the incredible connection between the couple in Argentine tango that makes it so special and unique in the world of social dancing.
The couple dance in a close embrace, the man improvising every move and the woman responding. The focus becomes the movements and the music and the world outside seems to slip away.
Once the couple achieves that connection, the feeling of communication and the adrenaline that creates is unsurpassable.
Add to that the subtle beauty of the movements, the music, the passion and, well, you won’t be the first to fall completely in love with Argentine tango.” – The Essence of Argentine Tango

We offer weekly group classes of Argentine tango, taught by the great Jan and Tino, who endeavor to create and transmit a true feeling for the dance. Both teachers are committed to continually improve their skills and take regular courses in Buenos Aires for that purpose.
